An FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) high school team is a group of students who work together to design, build, and program a robot to compete in a global robotics challenge. Each year, teams have just six weeks to construct a robot capable of completing specific tasks in a high-energy, sports-like competition. Beyond engineering, team members also focus on fundraising, marketing, and outreach to promote STEM education in their community. With guidance from mentors, teachers, and industry professionals, students develop technical, leadership, and teamwork skills while embracing FIRST’s core values of innovation and collaboration.
